I jumped
I stamped

two small stones - Dec 24
breathe in
wafting hopes
and expand
---
dip into your past
splash around
dry off
and return

small stone - Dec 23
happy chatter
from the neighbours' yard
lands on me
Catching and polishing these small stones is proving to be fun. Looking forward to pausing to find one each day in January!

Can't wait until January!
clatter, clatter
those mints
somewhere
in the handbag jungle
I'm impatient! Couldn't wait until January. Wrote this small stone this morning.

International small stones writing month
I am looking forward to participating in International small stone writing month.
Fiona Robyn, project facilitator writes:
"Better than January resolutions... 'a river of stones' is an international project organised by Fiona Robyn to encourage people to engage with the world through writing a short observational piece every day during January. Click to find out more, and join us!"
Visit a river of stones to find out more about the project. I have set up this blog to write my one small stone each day in January. I have actually begun practicing already but am going to refrain from writing any here until January when I hope to write one a day. That will be a challenge!
